Foreign workers from outside the European Union will be banned from coming to the UK to work as secondary school biology teachers, vets and orchestral musicians. The Government’s own statistics show that, in the 12 months after Mr Brown’s speech, the number of foreign workers rose by 175,000 as the number of British in work fell by 46,000. The government has already banned the legal movement of unskilled economic migrants from outside Europe to Britain. School Bans Home Lumch

Chicago public school has banned their students from bringing in a lunch packed from home. Principal of Little Village Academy decided to ban home-packed lunches after watching students bring lunches consisting of soda bottles and flaming hot chips on field trips. The principle of the school said she created the policy after watching students bring “bottles of soda and flaming hot chips” on field trips for their lunch.

Unfortunately, there have been complaints from Little Valley parents and students. Some kids and parents at the school beg to differ about the food quality, saying it doesn’t taste good. According to School, it is an initiative to encourage healthier eating.

FDA banned, any man who has had sex with another man since 1977, from donating blood after AIDS crisis during 80s. According to FDA, they are more likely to have/contract HIV. Gay men can’t donate blood no matter how much they’d like to. In the U.S., the law went into affect in 1983, the ban is still in full effect. Canadian Blood Services imposes a lifetime ban on men donating blood if they have ever had sex with another man. .S. federal law has forbidden homosexuals from donating blood since the 1983 outbreak of HIV.

Provincial Court Upheld The Laws Banning the Practice of Polygamy In Canada

CANADA POLYGAMY BAN

A Canadian provincial Court has upheld government’s decision for its law banning the polygamy. Chief Justice Robert Bauman issued his decision saying that plural marriage was harmful to society, especially women and children in polygamous communities. He said the law is valid as long as it’s not used to prosecute children. The attorney general of province was non-committal but also suggested an appeal could complicate matters. During 42 days of hearings in the case, the court heard testimony from former polygamist women  academic experts and current plural wives. The polygamy law was introduced by Parliament in 1890.

Open Handgun Carrying Banned in California By Law

CALIFORNIA Banned Open Handguns

Governor Jerry Brown announced here in California to put ban on openly carrying handguns in public. AB144 makes it illegal to carry an unloaded handgun in any public place or street or in vehicles. Hunting and shooting events will be exempted from this. Law enforcement personnel are exempt as are hunters and others carrying unloaded weapons under specified licensed circumstances.The law will be enacted on January 1st, and offenders will face up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.
