Moran Bill Would Ban Uses of Circus Animals In Travelling Shows

It is proposed that new legislation should be done to protect the rights of non-domesticated animals and put ban on using big animals like elephants and lions under the big top. Jim Moran, a Virginia Congressman may introduce the bill this month in legislative assembly. After successful move, the bill will ban exotic animals from traveling circuses. Travelling Circuses will be on target list after legislation.

European Union Put Bans on Full Body X-Ray Scanners on Airports Over Health Concerns

The European Union has decided last week to ban on all full body X-ray scanners from all airports in Union to ensure the health and safety of the citizens. The ban comes after the recent media report that the X-ray scanners may cause cancer. Scientists warned that the full-body, graphic-image X-ray scanners  may be unsafe.

Pakistan Blocked NATO Supplies

Pakistan has closed both its crossings after coalition air strikes by NATO that allegedly killed 24 Pakistani troops last Saturday. More than 300 trucks carrying coalition supplies are now backed up at Torkham and Chaman Chekpoints. A year ago Pakistan closed one of its Afghan border crossings to NATO supplies for about ten days in retaliation for a U.S. helicopter attack that accidentally killed two Pakistani soldiers. Pakistan only closed Torkham checkpoint.

Bill O Reilly Book Killing Lincoln Banned

Bill O’Reilly’s book, Killing Lincoln has been banned. The Ford Theater bookstore in Washington, D.C. has banned the selling of the book due to several “mistakes” and “inaccuracies. “Killing Lincoln” has no footnotes. “Killing Lincoln” suffers from factual errors and a lack of documentation, according to a study conducted by Rae Emerson, the deputy superintendent of Ford’s Theater National Historic Site, which is a unit of the National Park Service. The National Park Service finds that the Fox host’s best-selling new book is riddled with factual errors.
